Smiley kid's favourite snack home made /potato smiley recipe

Smiley is a yummy ,crunchy snack for Kids. kids will be excited to create their own smiley's.My Kid helped me to do the smiley's and it was amazing to watch their little hands creativity.All they need is a straw and a spoon to create the smiley.Then we can fry the smiley's for them.

Ingredients:

Potato 2 boiled and peeled
bread crumbs 2 tbsp
corn flour 2tbsp
chili powder 1/2 tsp (optional)
pepper powder 1/4 tsp
salt as needed
straw and a spoon

Method:

boil medium size potatoes (2 nos) and peel the skin
mash the potatoes
add bread crumbs,cornflour,chili powder,pepper powder,salt
make into a smooth dough
Now divide the dough into small ball-shaped dough
flattened the small ball-shaped dough
create the eyes with the help of straw
create smile with a spoon
heat oil and fry the smiley's
hot and crunchy smiley's are ready to serve

Carrot halwa

Carrot halwa popularly known as gajarhalwa is a rich sweet. My husband has a sweet tooth and this sweet is one of his favorites.So decided to prepare carrot halwa in this quarantine time.This sweet requires very simple ingredients and it’s a very simple preparation. Ingredients : Grated Carrots 4 cups Ghee 4 to 5 tbsp Boiled milk 11/2cups Sugar 3/4cup Cardamom powdered 1/2 tsp cashews&almonds&pistachios -1tbsp thinly sliced Method : In a pan add 1tbsp of ghee and sauté the grated carrots. When the carrot is half cooked add the boiled milk When the carrot is done and milk is completely absorbed start adding ghee After adding ghee sauté for 5 minutes Add sugar and keep stirring Let the moisture get completely absorbed Add cardamom powder and stir for few more minutes Now add the sliced nuts as it is or fry the nuts in ghee then add to the halwa Hot carrot halwa is ready to serve

Poori

Poori is a popular break-fast in Indian Household. Poori is a puffed crisp bread which can be made from wheat flour Maida (All Purpose Flour).This is one of the favorite breakfast in Indian cuisine.Let’s see how to make it . Poori Ingredients: Wheat flour 4cups Water As needed Salt as per taste 3 tsp oil Method : In a bowl add the flour Add salt Now add water and make it into a dough Add a 3tsp of oil in intervals and make a soft dough Cover it with wet linen cloth for 5 minutes Now roll it into small balls Using rolling pin flatten out the small dough ball Meanwhile in a deep pan heat oil to deep fry the poori’s Jus place the flatten out dough in the kadai Make sure the oil is smoking hot Now fry golden brown fluffy poori

Fish curry/meen kulambu

Fish is packed with protein,nutrients. Meen kulambu/fish curry is one of the most delicious south Indian curry cooked finding a balance between tamarind sourness and spice from the chili to make the fish the star of the dish.Here i have used sea bass(koduva) from whole food.This curry can be done with fish of your preference.
