  I'am dedicating "My Favorite people" to the talents and inspirations that I came(come) across in my life. I'am sharing my learning and their talents.

Writing a blog is my forte and I wanted to do it for many years.Glad, I'am doing it now. 

   The idea of writing about my favorite people sparked when I met this incredible artist few weeks before.We went to a mall in our city to watch movie and saw a beautiful painting of lord Lakshmi in an art gallery.Decided to go into the gallery to see the paintings.
I got blown away.Every painting  was incredible and in-detail. Finally got to meet the artist herself, the amazingly talented Vesna Delevska. I'am sharing few of her paintings.she is gonna talk about her inspiration for her paintings and about her work in the art world.So stay with us to know more about her work in the next blog.

Carrot halwa

Carrot halwa popularly known as gajarhalwa is a rich sweet. My husband  has a sweet tooth and this sweet  is one of his favorites.So decided to prepare carrot halwa in this quarantine time.This sweet requires very simple ingredients and it’s a very simple preparation. Ingredients : Grated Carrots 4 cups Ghee 4 to 5 tbsp Boiled milk 11/2cups Sugar 3/4cup Cardamom powdered 1/2 tsp cashews&almonds&pistachios -1tbsp thinly sliced Method : In a pan add 1tbsp of ghee and sauté the grated carrots. When the carrot is half cooked add the boiled milk When the carrot is done and milk is completely absorbed start adding ghee After adding ghee sauté for 5 minutes Add sugar and keep stirring Let  the moisture get completely absorbed Add cardamom powder and stir for few more minutes Now add the sliced nuts as it is or fry the nuts in ghee then add to the halwa Hot carrot halwa is ready to serve

Ghee Mysore pak

Ghee Mysore pak is an Indian dessert which is soft and melts in your mouth consistency sweet.It's made from besan flour,ghee and sugar.This sweet is one of our top list of sweets for any celebration and occasion. Ingredients:  1 cup besan flour 2 cups sugar 1 cup water 2 cups ghee Method: measure a cup of besan flour  sift the besan flour and add to a bowl measure sugar in the same cup  add 2 cups of sugar to a pan adding one cup of water  heat the pan to make the sugar syrup in another pan add 2 cups of ghee  heat the ghee but don't boil it in medium flame add the hot ghee to the besan flour and  make a batter without any lumps when the sugar dissolves and the syrup starts to boil add the besan mixture little by little to the sugar syrup keep stirring the mixture to avoid lumps on medium to low flame add hot ghee to the pan in intervals and keep stirring till the besan mixture doesn't stick to the pan anymore and the ghee oozes out ...

Paneer butter masala

Paneer butter masala in 10 minutes is the best side dish for fried rice ,chappathi.Making a restaurant style paneer butter masala  at home will help us in impressing not just our family members  but its a great dish for potluck.So how we prepare this paneer butter masala in 10 minutes Ingredients: paneer 250 grams onion 2 medium size tomato 3 large cashew nut  10  oil  salt  kasturi methi 1/2 tsp butter 2 tbsp fresh cream  red chili powder 1 tsp garam masala powder 3/4 tsp bay leaf  1 Method:  In  a pan add oil or butter saute onions,tomatoes and cashew nuts let it cool and grind to a smooth paste add butter to the pan add bay leaf and chili powder now pour the paste into the pan allow to boil for 5 minutes  add garammasala and kasturi methi then add the paneer and simmer it to low flame finish with corriander leaves watch the video of making of paneer butter masala ...
