Instant Rava dosa and tomato chutney

Rava dosa is a southindian break- fast recipe .There are  'N' number of varieties of dosa and definetly Rava dosa is most sorted one just like ghee roast,Masala dosa,Paper roast.This dosa requires simple preparation and we get a restaurant style rava dosa in our own kitchen. Ingredients: Rava (coarse) -1/2 cup Rice flour      -1/2 cup maida           -1/4cup ginger           1/4 tbsp grated asafoetida     1 /4 tsp  onion              1(minced) green chilli      2 minced pepper            1/4 tbsp cumin              1/4 tbsp curry leaves    string of leaves salt to taste water               3.5 cups Method: In A bowl add all the  flour as per measurements now add greenchilli ,ginger,curry leaves add cumin and pepper,asafoetida salt to taste add minced onions add 2.5 cups of water whisk the mixture thoroughly without any lumps now add one more cup of water and soak for 20 minutes heat the dosa tawa (pan)  when the tawa is hot start pouring the ba

5 minutes chilli cheese toast

5 MINUTES CHILLI CHEESE TOAST        This is a simple cheese toast which can be done in 5 minutes. This dish is my go to dish for break-fast and  evening snack. At times we feel to spend very little time to make a dish but yet we want it to taste awesome.This chili cheese toast is one such snack. prep time:3 minutes cooking time:2 minutes Ingredients: Shredded cheese(preferably mozzarella) chilli flakes  pepper  salt onions(minced) bell peppers(diced) oregano Butter Bread  method: 1.In a bowl add shredded cheese,onions,bellpeppers. 2.Season with a pinch of salt ,1/4 tsp of oregano,1/2 tsp chilli flakes,1/2 tsp pepper.(spice up according to taste). 3.mix the chesse and the spices and spread on the bread, 4.spread butter on the other bread and make a sandwich.  5.In a pan add butter and toast till the cheese melts. 6.serve hot with sauce of your choice. watch the video of making chilli cheese toast:

Basundi sweet

Making of Basundi (Milk sweet )        Basundi is a milk sweet done by reducing full fat milk into quaretr adding flavours with   cardamom,kesar,nuts(cashew,almonds,pistachios),sugar.               Patience is a virtue for cooking.Especially sweets ,milk may get easily  burnt  if  we are trying do it on high flame.            I personally love the sweet. It's a heavenly tasting sweet which can be served  hot or cold. preparation time:5 mints cooking time:40 mints course:sweet cuisine:Indian Ingredients: 1 litre milk ,full cream 1/4 cup sugar 2 tbsp cashew nuts 2 tbsp almonds 2 tbsp pistachios 1/4 tsp kesar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder Method: 1. Boil the  milk in a heavy bottomed vessel. 2. Bring the milk to boil and add the nuts to the boiling milk. 3.Stir the milk often to make sure it doesn't stick to the bottom. 4.Boil the milk for nearly 30 minutes till it reduces to quarter     @ low flame. 5.Now add 1/4 cup of sugar and

Idly sambar

Idly Sambar   Here iam sharing the south Indian favorite break- fast.Idly sambar is something u can find in every corner of south India.This sambar is a family recipe .My favorite childhood break-fast.It's a simple preparation but the taste is inevitable.It's made  from  toor dhal and it can be made from moong dhal too. prep time :5 mints cooking time 25 mints. Ingredients: toor dhal -1 cup oil     -2 tbsp mustard seeds -1 tsp onion      -1 medium size tomato   -1  medium size grenn chilli-3 to 4 nos cumin seeds -1 tsp tamarind-half lemon size asafoetida -pinch turmeric powder-1/4 tsp curry and corrainder leaves-handful Method:    1.steam toor dhal in presuure cooker with pinch of asafoetida and 1/4tsp of turmericpowder    2.In a pan add a 2tbsp of oil and add mustard seeds.    3.once the mustards splatter add  onions and tomatoes    4.Saute for till the onions are translucent and tomatoes are mushy.   5. add green chilli,curry leaves and saute for 3m
